SMV Inventory Specialist

About the role

The SMV Inventory Specialist works the first shift (5 am – 1:30 pm) in a Bosch warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory records and safe material handling. The position offers a pay rate of $23.57 per hour and involves operating powered industrial trucks and handheld RF scanners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts to support regular warehouse operations.
• Investigate damaged, missing, or incorrectly shipped freight and address customer complaints.
• Inspect non‑conformant material and determine suitability for return to sellable stock.
• Prevent damage to equipment, materials, and processes through careful handling.
• Maintain a constant safety mindset to avoid injuries and hazardous incidents.
• Coordinate with leadership and business groups to complete investigations, scrap decisions, and inventory adjustments.
• Participate in special tasks such as 6S initiatives.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse or related environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work repetitive tasks with constant alertness.
• Comfortable making minor decisions based on instructions and established routines.
• Ability to use basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with decimals and fractions.
