Warehouse Associate

About the role

Join Bosch Group as a Warehouse Associate in Summerville, where you will support daily shipping, receiving and storage operations using powered industrial trucks and handheld RF scanners. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (order picker, reach truck, sit‑down) to move materials safely.
• Use handheld RF scanners to verify quantities, track inventory and generate paperwork.
• Prepare shipments: pick, pack, label and load trucks.
• Receive inbound shipments, unload trucks, inspect for damage, record receipts and store items in designated locations.
• Participate in 6S and other continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of warehouse or material‑handling experience.
• Valid OSHA certification for powered industrial trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.

Required skills

• Operation of powered industrial trucks (order picker, reach truck, sit‑down).
• Use of handheld RF scanners.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (SAP is a plus) and lean/continuous‑improvement practices.
