Vice President, Direct Origination – Equipment Finance (Midwest)

About the role
The Vice President, Direct Origination will lead equipment finance sales across the Midwest, working remotely to cover a national territory. You will prospect new clients, manage a portfolio of middle‑market companies, and structure equipment transactions ranging from $1M to $50M.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect daily for new clients and maintain a scheduled calling program targeting CFOs of companies with $100MM+ revenue.
- Structure, price, and manage equipment finance deals, coordinating with marketing and using Salesforce to keep the pipeline current.
- Visit accounts and prospects as needed, and travel to build relationships.
Required profile
- Minimum 5+ years of successful equipment finance sales experience.
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to use loan pricing models and assess transaction pricing.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
