Vertical Account Manager – Commercial Claims

About the role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of RELX, helps insurance carriers assess risk and improve claims operations through data, analytics, and technology. The Commercial Claims team partners with Property & Casualty insurers to reduce claim costs, combat fraud, and streamline workflows. As a Vertical Account Manager you will own a portfolio of commercial insurance carrier accounts, driving revenue growth and solution adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets through strategic account planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with claims executives, operations leaders, SIU teams, and technology stakeholders.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer objectives and operational challenges.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Manage customer retention plans, ensuring satisfaction and continued solution adoption.
• Collaborate with product specialists, implementation managers, and sales support to deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging challenges.
• Track pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in Salesforce and other sales tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience.
• Proven success in consultative sales, account management, or business development.
• Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience required.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance claims processes and workflows.
• Direct claims experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
