User Experience Design Associate – Tax Innovation (TIDE) – Summer/Fall 2027

About the role

As a User Experience Design Associate in PwC’s Tax Innovation Delivery Experience (TIDE) team, you will create user‑centric design solutions that support the firm’s tax practice. The position is based in Rosemont, Illinois and is intended for the Summer/Fall 2027 period, offering exposure to real client engagements and the opportunity to develop professional design skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop user‑centric design concepts that enhance brand experiences for tax‑related services.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs.
• Map user journeys and optimize interactions across multiple touchpoints.
• Apply human‑centered design principles to create intuitive interfaces.
• Produce UI prototypes and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design solutions that support tax strategy projects.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (final academic year preferred).
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred).
• Strong curiosity, adaptability, and interest in combining design with tax‑focused business challenges.

Required skills

• Understanding of human‑centered design and user research methods.
• Ability to create UI prototypes and visual mock‑ups.
