About the role
The University Police Officer provides law‑enforcement services on the University of Arkansas at Monticello campus, ensuring safety, enforcing traffic and criminal laws, and supporting campus investigations.
Key responsibilities
- Enforce traffic, criminal, and parking regulations on campus.
- Conduct accident and criminal investigations.
- Serve in a supervisory or lead capacity within the public safety operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with law‑enforcement standards and university policy.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 21.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain Arkansas Law Enforcement Certification within one year.
- Authorization to carry a weapon for law‑enforcement duties.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
