Travel Medical Assistant – Statewide (Temp/Seasonal) in Colorado

About the role

Join a Colorado‑based team delivering preventive‑care visits directly to patients’ homes. This temporary, seasonal position involves traveling across the state to complete in‑home medical assistant duties.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled in‑home member visits, including Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive‑care activities.
• Take vitals, conduct screenings, and execute point‑of‑care tests such as A1C and urine analysis.
• Document visits accurately in the EMR/EHR and follow all clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience with a valid MA certificate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently in patients’ homes and meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑care testing (A1C, urine analysis).
• EMR/EHR documentation.
• Taking vitals and conducting screenings.

What we offer

• Pay rate of $35 per hour (W‑2).
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.725 per mile between eligible patient visits.
• Paid travel time and coverage of extended travel expenses (transportation, rental car, hotel, meals).
