Transportation Logistics Manager

About the role

Productiv, Inc. is looking for an experienced Transportation Logistics Manager to lead inbound and outbound freight operations across our logistics network. This remote position requires candidates to reside in North Carolina, with a strong preference for applicants from Fayetteville.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transportation operations for LTL, PTL, FTL, and small‑parcel shipments.
• Schedule and track shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Coordinate with carriers such as USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL and other freight providers.
• Select carriers based on cost, transit time, visibility and service performance.
• Serve as primary contact for B2B clients regarding shipment scheduling, status and support.
• Prepare shipping quotes and support new customer opportunities.
• Review carrier performance to identify cost‑saving and process‑improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and reporting in TMS and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Research, dispute, and resolve incorrect freight charges and billing discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with labeling, documentation, carrier requirements and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transportation management, freight coordination or logistics management.
• Working knowledge of LTL shipping, freight class, NMFC codes, weight/dimension calculations and accessorial charges.
• Familiarity with freight equipment such as dry vans, flatbeds, box trucks, lowboys and specialized equipment.
• Ability to retrieve and manage shipment data including PO numbers, SO numbers and carrier tracking information.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow‑through.
• Willingness to obtain HAZMAT shipping certification if required.
