Training Specialist

About the role

The Department of the Navy is seeking a Training Specialist to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs across the organization. You will act as a subject‑matter expert on curriculum development, testing, and quality assurance for all training initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on training functions, curriculum development, and testing programs.
• Maintain master files for all training materials and ensure they are up‑to‑date.
• Monitor and update instructions, databases, and training requirements.
• Review curriculum materials for technical accuracy and alignment with objectives.
• Conduct trend analysis of instructor evaluations, prepare reports, and make recommendations.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for federal employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑07 level, including evaluating training effectiveness and designing course materials.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
