Test Engineer Intern

About the role

Join Bosch Rexroth’s HydraForce division as a Test Engineer Intern and gain hands‑on experience with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic test stands. You will work on real‑world equipment in a fast‑paced engineering environment, supporting the development and qualification of hydraulic cartridge valves.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic circuits and tooling on plant test stands.
• Analyze and resolve stand issues using troubleshooting guides.
• Review hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics to diagnose test setups and power unit equipment.
• Calibrate testing equipment such as pressure transducers, flow meters, heat and current sensors.
• Assist in correlation studies and GR&R for product‑specific stand qualification.
• Update documentation in the Q‑Pulse system.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an engineering undergraduate program with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and self‑directed motivation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• PLC programming.
• Hydraulic circuit troubleshooting.
• Electrical and pneumatic circuit troubleshooting.
• Calibration of pressure transducers, flow meters, and sensors.
• Experience with Q‑Pulse documentation (training provided).
