Design Engineer Intern

About the role

Join HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth business, as a Design Engineer Intern and support the engineering team in developing high‑performance hydraulic cartridge valves. You will gain hands‑on experience in 3D modeling, prototype building, and performance testing while working on real projects that impact mobile and industrial equipment markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting assignments related to modeling and detailed drawings.
• Learn to build prototypes and conduct lab‑based performance tests.
• Work under the guidance of design engineers using 3D CAD software, computational fluid dynamics, and lab processes.
• Develop proficiency in Creo and contribute to technical reports on test findings.
• Support the team with statistical evaluations and data analysis.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering).
• Strong technical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic proficiency in CAD modeling and the MS Office suite.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Self‑directed, motivated, and able to work collaboratively.
