Temporary Groundskeeper at Alta Wildhorse Ranch

About the role

Ensures the physical aspects of the community are maintained, meeting standards for grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal while supporting the service team members.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings, keeping common areas and amenities neat.
• Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transfer trash to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete assigned minor and routine service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist in the turnover process.
• Change all locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Inform supervisors of any hazards or potentially dangerous situations for residents, team members, or guests.
• Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents respectfully, answering questions, and responding sensitively to maintenance complaints.
• Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents promptly.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duties.
