TechOps Engineer

About the role

In this role you’ll treat internal IT infrastructure as a product, building automated systems that enable teams to tackle hard problems in US healthcare. You’ll balance day‑to‑day user support with deep project work and have a direct say in the tools we use.

Key responsibilities

• Own and automate the end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding lifecycle for employees.
• Lead critical initiatives such as migrating Apple MDM platforms and building a Zero‑Touch Enrollment pipeline.
• Set up and maintain secure endpoint configurations using Apple MDM (Jamf/Kandji), AutoPkg, and related security software.
• Implement and manage zero‑trust security controls via SSO, SAML, and MFA.
• Investigate root‑cause issues and develop lasting infrastructure fixes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and People Operations to deliver safer, easier tools and processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on Technical Operations or IT experience, preferably in a fast‑paced startup or high‑volume MSP.
• Strong troubleshooting expertise across macOS and Apple MDM tools.
• Highly autonomous with a bias toward scripting and automation.
• Ability to translate complex technical or security changes to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Focus on compliance, data protection, and secure off‑boarding of patient data.
