About the role

Protiviti is hiring Technology Consulting interns in Dallas for 2027. Interns work with Protiviti's clients, typically among the world's leading companies, collaborating with the team to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business problems. The internship offers exposure to several industries, hands-on training and a preview of Foundations, the entry-level full-time career path.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients on projects assigned by Talent Managers, covering areas such as Business Platform Transformation, Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI, Microsoft, Security and Privacy, Technology Risk and Resilience, and Technology Strategy and Architecture.
• Take part in Liftoff, the onboarding experience, and The Intern Challenge, an experiential learning course.
• Receive hands-on training and interact with leaders across the practice, supported by a network of advisors.
• Join committees, employee network groups and social, civic and networking activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IoT, Machine Learning).
• Currently enrolled in a degree program and expected to graduate within 12 months after the internship.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, GenAI).
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and ability to apply critical thinking to client engagements.

Required skills

• Preferred: familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, MicroStrategy, SSRS, and databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.
• Preferred: entry-level knowledge of IT controls, IT and business/technology risk, and programming skills such as Python, Java, JavaScript.
