Technical Service Specialist – Northeast Florida

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our Automotive Refinish team covering the Northeast Florida territory, including Orlando and Jacksonville. The role combines hands‑on technical coaching, product demonstrations, and customer training to help collision repair shops improve their processes and results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product demonstrations and customer training events.
• Provide hands‑on technical coaching to active collision‑center customers.
• Support distribution partners with technical product knowledge and training.
• Assist sales teams in new‑business opportunities and customer conversions.
• Troubleshoot application, process, and color‑match best practices.
• Support implementation of solvent‑based and waterborne refinish technologies.
• Participate in new product introductions and field‑level process development.
• Help customers achieve operational and financial improvement goals.
• Travel throughout the territory to engage directly with customers and industry partners.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years of automotive refinish industry experience.
• Strong understanding of collision repair and refinishing processes.
• Knowledge of competitive products, systems, and tools.
• Ability to deliver customer presentations and technical training.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• CRM experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Experience with Surventis Automotive Refinish products is highly valued.
