Technical Lead – SAP EDI Manager

About the role

The Manager, Technical Lead EDI is a critical member of the enterprise solution design and delivery team, partnering with business stakeholders and product teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements, projects, and programs that support business strategy and drive enterprise value across Ocean Spray key functions. This role is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of optimized, integrated, and automated technology solutions leveraging our EDI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Drive process optimization and solution standardization by leveraging platform best practices, architectural standards, and industry frameworks.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams such as Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance to identify productivity, efficiency, automation, and scalability opportunities enabled by EDI and embedded AI technologies.
• Own the end‑to‑end EDI landscape, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external trading partners.
• Advise on sprint design and backlog grooming for EDI enhancements, and oversee AMS production support, release planning, and incident resolution.
• Lead trading‑partner enablement, including onboarding, testing, certification, and post‑implementation support.
• Define solution architecture requirements, integration standards, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security policies.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Business System Analysts and AMS team members.

Required profile

• Deep working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA core modules (SD, MM/PP, FICO) and related ERP processes such as Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash.
• Extensive experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and EDI platform management.
• Proven track record in technical delivery, solution design, systems implementation, and release management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and oversee Business System Analysts or similar roles.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
