Technical Lead, Prediction & Planning (ML)

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a hands‑on Technical Lead to own the end‑to‑end development of ML‑first behavior prediction and planning for autonomous vehicles. You will guide architectural decisions, drive the technical roadmap, and mentor a team of engineers working on trajectory generation and interaction modeling.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap for ML‑based behavior prediction and planning.
• Lead system architecture reviews and build scalable software and infrastructure foundations.
• Collaborate with perception and planning leadership on training data generation and ML‑based planner integration.
• Partner with research teams to incorporate state‑of‑the‑art architectures.
• Mentor engineers, promote engineering excellence, and establish best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical teams in autonomous‑vehicle or robotics domains.
• Strong background in ML‑driven behavior prediction and planning systems.
• Demonstrated ability to make architectural decisions and own complex end‑to‑end systems.
• Hands‑on engineering mindset with a focus on delivering high‑impact solutions.
