Technical Instructor – Legal Studies (Full‑time Faculty)

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a full‑time Technical Instructor to teach Legal Studies courses at Chattahoochee Technical College. This 12‑month faculty position reports to the Associate Dean of Business and supports both associate‑degree and diploma programs.

Key responsibilities

• Teach all Legal Studies (LGST) courses for associate‑degree and diploma tracks.
• Provide academic advising to students and contribute to departmental, division, and college goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote enrollment and student retention.
• Deliver hybrid and online instruction, including both asynchronous and synchronous formats.

Required profile

• Juris Doctorate, or a Bachelor’s in Paralegal/Legal Studies with paralegal experience, or a Master’s in Law/Legal Studies with paralegal experience.
• Ability to work full‑time on a 12‑month faculty schedule.

Required skills

• Experience with Blackboard or other learning management systems.
• Proficiency in computer‑assisted instruction delivery.
