Continuing Education Coordinator

About the role

The Continuing Education Coordinator will lead the planning, development, marketing and administration of adult learning and professional development courses for the community and local businesses. This position supports the Economic Development division of Chattahoochee Tech College and helps generate income for the college.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Economic Development to identify community and industry training needs and set course pricing.
• Manage course scheduling, supplies, instructor coordination, student enrollment, compliance and program evaluation.
• Assist visitors and students with class information, registration and payments.
• Monitor and respond to phone, social media and email inquiries for the Economic Development division.
• Represent Economic Development at community events and industry visits.
• Partner with Career Services, Academic Affairs, WIOA and External Affairs to promote programs.
• Work with external partners such as Chambers of Commerce and community organizations to market offerings.
• Register participants, maintain class files and trainer records, analyze program performance and report data.

Required profile

• Ability to collaborate closely with the Associate Dean of Economic Development.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills for managing multiple courses and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, visitors and external partners.
