Team Truck Driver (CDL‑A) – $140k‑$160k Salary

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Team Drivers to join its Alexandria, IN service center. Drivers work a 5‑day on‑road, 2‑day home schedule, pulling van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport freight safely and on time across assigned routes.
• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers according to load plans.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and complete required paperwork.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition specifications).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and safety‑focused.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double or triple trailer pulls.
• Haz‑mat endorsement or experience hauling hazardous materials.
• Tanker endorsement or experience.
• LTL freight handling experience.
