Team Leader – Healthcare Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader to champion culture and coach a group of front‑line Customer Service Advocates who handle 50‑70 healthcare inquiries each day. The role focuses on supporting, developing and inspiring the team while ensuring high‑quality service for our members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of Customer Service Advocates.
• Monitor daily performance metrics and ensure service level targets are met.
• Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule staffing and manage workload.
• Promote a psychologically safe environment through active listening and empathy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a customer service or call‑center team, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork, motivate staff and drive continuous improvement.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
