About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a special‑needs school in Boston, East Midlands. The role is ideal for individuals with a background in healthcare or support work who wish to apply their skills in an educational setting. Working Monday to Friday, you will enjoy flexible daily hours that fit your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one support to KS1 and KS2 students with special educational needs.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other assistants to deliver inclusive lessons.
• Assist in developing students' social and cognitive skills through tailored activities.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment under the guidance of senior leadership.

Required profile

• Experience in the care or support sector, preferably with vulnerable groups.
• Interest in transitioning skills to an educational context.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards.
