Systems Engineer – Networking & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Quvia is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Miramar, FL office. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust networking and cloud infrastructure that supports the company’s edge‑to‑cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers, QA, support, and operations to ensure system reliability, efficiency, and security.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot networking components including switching, routing, subnetting, and transport‑layer protocols.
• Support AWS VPC networking, site‑to‑site VPNs, and related cloud services.
• Deploy and manage hypervisors such as ESXi, KVM, and Proxmox across physical hardware.
• Maintain Linux servers, write and maintain Bash and Python scripts for automation.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for systems processes and protocols.
• Travel to customer sites and Quvia Points of Presence as required.

Required profile

• Located within commuting distance of Miramar, FL or able to relocate immediately.
• Hands‑on experience with networking concepts and cloud networking (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency with hypervisor technologies and hardware management.
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting experience.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and PoPs.
