System Project Lead – Commercial Vehicle Steering

About the role

Bosch is looking for a System Project Lead to drive the development of commercial vehicle steering systems, including electro‑hydraulic and fully electric solutions. You will act as the technical counterpart to the Program Manager and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated steering solutions for conventional, driver‑assistance, and autonomous‑driving applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical integration and execution of steering system projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and project timelines.
• Coordinate activities across system, software, hardware, functional safety, cybersecurity, and other engineering domains.
• Translate customer needs into clear system requirements and maintain traceability using requirements‑management tools.
• Conduct impact analyses for requirement and design changes and define validation strategies.
• Serve as the primary engineering interface with customers, leading technical discussions and maintaining strong relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical project management of automotive steering systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage technical priorities across multiple disciplines.
• Strong understanding of system integration, functional safety, and cybersecurity in vehicle applications.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers and internal teams.
