System Administrator – Windows & Linux

About the role

The System Administrator will support both Windows and Linux environments, ensuring hardware and software operate securely and efficiently. You will work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to maintain system integrity and respond to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, servers, workstations, and peripherals.
• Administer Windows and Linux operating systems across desktop and server platforms.
• Perform system patching, operating system updates, and security updates.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor system logs to identify issues or security concerns.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop, document, and report on IT security programs and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Configure and maintain desktop, laptop, server, and network hardware.
• Provide technical training, guidance, and documentation to staff.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance.
• Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Help Desk, Systems Administration, or similar IT infrastructure role.
