About the role

The Surgical Technician provides competent assistance during surgical procedures, ensures equipment and supplies are ready, and maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and registered nurses during surgical procedures, including scrubbing in and handling instruments.
  • Maintain and disinfect endoscopes and other surgical equipment, following quality‑control standards.
  • Ensure availability and proper handling of all supplies and equipment needed for surgeries.
  • Support day‑to‑day operations of the surgical department and perform related duties as assigned.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduated from an accredited surgical technology program and holds a certification in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Good organizational and time‑management abilities, with the capacity to work independently.

Required skills

  • Certified Surgical Technology knowledge.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) proficiency.
  • Ability to clean and disinfect endoscopic equipment.
