Support Engineer

About the role

Carefeed is looking for a Support Engineer to act as the technical bridge between our engineering, product, and client experience teams. Based in Chicago, you will investigate and resolve client‑facing issues while building tools that prevent future problems, especially around our integrations platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide escalation support for the client experience team by diagnosing and fixing issues as they arise.
• Design and implement monitoring and automation tools to detect or prevent client problems.
• Assist with the technical onboarding and off‑boarding of new clients, creating scripts or utilities to streamline the process.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve incidents, and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights and feedback on processes and systems.

Required profile

• Recent graduate from a college program or coding bootcamp eager to start a software development career.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for troubleshooting and process improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in querying and analyzing data using SQL.
• Solid debugging experience, particularly with third‑party integrations and server logs.
