Supply Technician

About the role

The Supply Technician supports clinical operations at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences by managing inventory, processing supply requests, and ensuring that essential medical and non‑medical items are available when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Process internal supply orders, prepare kits, and distribute items to clinical departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and infection‑control standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal staff to resolve supply issues promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply management is a plus.
• Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse, or supply chain environments, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clinical staff and vendors.
