Supplier Quality Engineer – Quality Assurance

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer ensures superior quality performance at supplier partners through APQP implementation during product and parts industrialization, and drives continuous quality improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate potential new suppliers via technical capability assessments and assist in supplier selection.
• Execute DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, PV&V, FAI, LRA, and SICR activities.
• Manage APQP processes during NPI projects to maintain consistent quality and schedule adherence.
• Document detailed quality requirements in the Supplier Project Book.
• Facilitate Design for Excellence (DfX) collaboration between R&D and suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or vocational education in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, Process Engineering or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience with supplier quality, DfX methodology, process validation and continuous improvement preferred.
