Summer Intern – People & Engagement (Junior)

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is offering a 10‑week summer internship in its People & Engagement (P&E) group for 2027. Interns join a cohort‑based learning model, receive mentorship from senior professionals, and work on real‑world projects that support the Bank’s culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on specialized projects across P&E functions such as Learning & Development, HR Operations, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Internal Communications, and People Experience.
• Conduct in‑depth research, gather data, and organize information to support innovative HR initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to the design of modern employee experiences.
• Participate in professional development events and networking sessions with senior leaders.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with an interest in human resources or related fields.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Eligibility to work in the United States for the summer of 2027.
