Suite/Event Attendant

About the role

A leading provider of food and beverage services at sports, entertainment and convention facilities has an immediate opening for a Suite/Event Attendant. The position requires passing a background check.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests enthusiastically and serve alcoholic beverages in line with company standards.
• Answer guest questions about food, beverages and facilities accurately and kindly.
• Identify food orders when ready and deliver them to tables on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area and follow checklists and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare the work area for opening, mid-shift or closing, and do side work during non-busy hours.
• Communicate with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction and report to work on schedule, in uniform.
• Keep full knowledge of menus, recipes and products, and increase that knowledge constantly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1-2 years of serving experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must obtain a Food Handler's Permit upon hire and attend ASM Global Alcohol and Policy Training classes.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods.

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills and good with people.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and read and understand English.
