About the role
Join Parker Core Knowledge as a K-8 Substitute Teacher, stepping in to deliver lesson plans and support student learning across kindergarten through 8th grade.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the classroom teacher’s lesson plans and curriculum.
- Maintain classroom management and a productive learning environment.
- Supervise students outside the classroom, including hallways and cafeteria.
- Take attendance, document daily notes, and provide a summary for the returning teacher.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree preferred; non‑degree applicants may be considered based on experience.
- Colorado (or other state) teaching certificate or substitute license preferred.
- Prior teaching or classroom experience strongly preferred.
Required skills
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and basic computer/office equipment.
