Student Internship – Business & Operations

About the role

AbbVie offers active university students a six‑month internship to apply academic knowledge in real‑world projects across business, finance, supply chain and related functions. Interns will work on‑site, supporting continuous‑improvement initiatives and gaining exposure to a global pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute tasks and projects in areas such as finance, supply chain, administration, IT or laboratory support.
• Assist with process analysis, compliance checks and continuous‑improvement activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend meetings and contribute to training sessions.
• Perform data analysis, manage information, prepare technical documentation and generate reports using tools like Excel, Power BI and SAP.
• Support laboratory testing, sample collection, protocol preparation and related documentation when required.

Required profile

• Active university student with at least 50 % of the study plan completed.
• Studies in Business Administration, Finance, International Trade, Business Intelligence, Accounting, Graphic Design, Supply Chain or related fields.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B1‑B2); Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong ethical commitment, teamwork, initiative, adaptability and attention to detail.
