About the role
The Student Development Specialist / Community College Liaison supports the transition of community‑college students to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Working within the Office of Transfer Student Services, the liaison acts as a primary resource for community‑college advisors and students throughout Arkansas.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for community‑college institutions, advisors, and students across Arkansas.
- Provide comprehensive guidance to ensure a smooth transfer process to UALR.
- Collaborate with advisors to address student needs and academic planning.
- Report to the Associate Registrar for Transfer Student Services.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and institutional policies.
Required profile
- Baccalaureate degree.
- Minimum two years of experience in a college setting.
- Strong oral, listening, and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for student services.
- Experience working effectively in a team environment.
