Structures Mechanic – Aircraft Maintenance

About the role

The A&P Structures Mechanic must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and perform inspections as required by the FAA. The role also supports the shop in meeting schedule needs to ensure on‑time delivery of aircraft for missions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural modifications and repairs to aircraft.
• Assist the shop with meeting schedule needs to make on‑time delivery of the aircraft to support missions.
• Use precision measuring equipment and hand tools to fabricate, assemble and install aircraft structural components.
• Work effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.
• Operate all required ground support equipment.
• Effectively troubleshoot and repair all aircraft and customer systems.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Structural Aircraft Maintenance and Modification.
• Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical systems functions and interactions.
• Thorough working knowledge of current FAA regulations, IPC and ATA codes.
• Valid Driver's License.
• U.S. Citizenship required to obtain/maintain a United States Security Clearance.
• Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
• Must be able to obtain a passport.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Veteran status preferred.
