About the role

As a Strategic Sourcing & Value Capture Consultant – Manager at PwC, you will lead the optimisation of sourcing and procurement processes for our clients, driving cost savings and strengthening supplier relationships. You will work within the Operations practice, advising on strategic sourcing frameworks, digital procurement solutions, and supplier relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise procurement processes and achieve cost reductions.
• Analyse client needs and develop operational strategies that improve productivity and business performance.
• Guide teams in implementing strategic sourcing frameworks and supplier relationship management practices.
• Utilise procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba and Coupa to streamline operations.
• Manage supplier negotiations and contract management to enhance collaboration and supply‑chain resilience.
• Oversee deployment of digital procurement solutions to boost efficiency.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, leveraging their strengths to meet client expectations.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier optimisation.
• Collaborate with leadership to validate quality, timelines, and deliverables in client engagements.
• Promote innovation and the adoption of technology to improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred academic background in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, Project Management, or related fields.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
