About the role

Design a career and build your future as a State Licensed Journeyman Electrician. The role supports heavy civil projects such as bridges, structural concrete, mechanical equipment, heavy steel structures, and marine work. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, self‑motivated and capable of solving both routine and complex construction challenges.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Install, maintain, and work with cable tray systems and cabling.
  • Perform control wiring and terminations with accuracy and quality.
  • Complete required project documentation and field reports.
  • Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
  • Assist with planning and layout of daily electrical tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Required profile

  • Current Washington and Oregon Journeyman license (required).
  • Strong technical experience with industrial electrical systems and control wiring.
  • Familiarity with cable tray systems, cabling, and control terminations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel 100% with per‑diem for assignments 70+ miles from home.

  • Pay range $28 – $46 per hour, DOE, following Washington Davis‑Bacon rules.
  • $600 per week subsistence/per diem for assignments 70+ miles from residence.
