Staff / Principal Engineer, Product Security

About the role

Radar is seeking a Staff / Principal Engineer, Product Security to lead the security foundation of its geolocation platform and products. You will work across mobile SDKs, web SDKs, server APIs and desktop apps to keep the software ahead of emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Define secure‑by‑design architecture and influence security roadmaps for the engineering organization.
• Conduct adversary thinking, automated penetration tests, and security assessments across mobile, web, desktop, and server components.
• Collaborate with product and platform engineers to embed security standards throughout the SDLC, including AI security best practices.
• Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve security controls.

Required profile

• Proven builder with deep understanding of automation, application architecture, and development processes.
• Experience in mobile penetration testing and working in regulated industries with motivated threat actors.
