Staff Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join Amazon Pharmacy’s online pharmacy team in Daytona Beach, FL. The role combines hands‑on medication dispensing with end‑to‑end prescription fulfillment, ensuring customers receive safe, timely, and affordable medication.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense, verify, and pack medication orders for shipment, including bulk and packet sets.
• Manage the full prescription lifecycle: order processing, verification, transfer coordination, and new prescription acquisition.
• Maintain and update customer profiles in PharmacyOS.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks on all dispensed products before shift end.
• Handle ancillary pharmacy tasks such as returns, medication rejects, substitutions, and canister approvals.
• Answer clinical questions, provide guidance, investigate errors, and report findings.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to sustain high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions and lift up to 20 lb.
