Key responsibilities
- Partner with functional leaders on executive roadmaps, business cases, intake, prioritization and measurable outcomes.
- Lead discovery, process mapping, root-cause analysis and gap assessment across Finance, Supply Chain and Distribution Center Operations, People and Legal, and emerging areas.
- Translate needs into functional requirements, process and data flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications and backlog items.
- Develop deep knowledge of assigned domains, including ERP and other enterprise platforms, integrations, reporting, controls and data dependencies.
- Facilitate design sessions with Technical Architecture and Engineering, evaluate tradeoffs and ensure designs meet enterprise standards and scalability.
- Maintain requirements traceability and lead validation, UAT, defect triage, release readiness, training and adoption.
- Embed compliance, segregation of duties, auditability, security and data quality into designs, especially in a public-company environment.
- Analyze production issues and process KPIs, define improvements and coordinate handoffs to Engineering and Production Support.
- Support vendor evaluations and solution selection, and identify opportunities for workflow automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Raise the quality of business analysis by setting reusable standards, coaching peers and modeling structured problem solving.
Required profile
- Proven senior Business Systems Analyst, Business Process, Product, Program or comparable enterprise-systems role.
- Experience leading end-to-end business transformations across process, technology, data, controls and change adoption.
- Strong functional depth in one domain such as Finance, Supply Chain, People or Legal, with quick learning of others.
- Public-company experience with SOX, compliance, controls, governance and audit.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work in a hybrid presence in the Bay Area.
Required skills
- Hands-on experience with enterprise applications such as ERP; integrations, analytics, reporting and workflow automation highly valued.
- Business-analysis practices: process modeling, requirements elicitation, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT and release readiness.
- Technical fluency with architects, engineers, data teams and vendors; an engineering or technical background is a plus.
