Sr. Electronics Test Validation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Test Validation Engineer to join our joint‑venture team focused on next‑generation electric vehicle technologies. In this position you will define test strategies, develop test plans and execute component‑level validation for electronic control units, collaborating closely with hardware and software design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute durability, electrical and functional validation tests for ECUs, emphasizing electrical stress testing.
• Develop detailed test plans, scripts and fixtures in partnership with HW/SW designers.
• Maintain traceability using requirement‑management and version‑control tools.
• Create test strategies, cases and review functional and environmental test plans.
• Provide data analytics and generate test reports.
• Schedule test development and execution activities.
• Investigate failures through data analysis and reproduction.
• Identify and assess risks affecting schedule, cost or quality.
• Continuously improve safety, performance and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional design and engineering teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of testing experience in automotive or aerospace/defense.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands‑on laboratory experience with bench equipment, thermal chambers, electrical and EMC testing.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO16750‑2 and ISO21780 testing standards.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN‑FD, LIN, FlexRay).
• Ability to read technical specifications, schematics and mechanical drawings.
