Sr. Director, Corporate Communications

About the role

Pinterest is seeking a senior leader to shape how the company is perceived by investors, policymakers, advertisers, media and the broader market. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, the Sr. Director will guide strategy and execution across high‑stakes business, financial and reputational moments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high‑performing corporate communications organization with clear goals and accountability.
• Translate the CCO’s vision into an integrated corporate communications strategy that aligns with all practice areas.
• Partner with the CFO and Investor Relations team to define financial narratives, earnings messaging and media engagement.
• Set the narrative for Pinterest’s advertising platform and drive communications that resonate with brands, agencies and trade press.
• Develop strategic messaging frameworks for senior leaders and act as senior editorial partner on critical content.
• Provide oversight for trust, safety and policy communications, ensuring credible external narratives on platform safety.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading corporate, financial, ads/monetization and executive communications.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with C‑suite executives, especially CFOs and senior leaders.
• Track record of shaping public narratives during pivotal company moments.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
