Sr Analyst, Online Merch - Dropship

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Sr Analyst, Online Merch - Dropship for its Store Support Center. The role drives the execution and supports operations of new, innovative and strategic online selling concepts, site features and functionalities, working with internal and external cross-functional teams. It determines initiative prioritization, performs business analysis and develops KPI reporting so that sales and profitability align with strategic and financial plans, while communicating the impact of these initiatives on other business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and present analysis to the project team and online merchants to expand strategic selling initiatives, assess business cases and execute strategies (40%)
• Manage day-to-day operations for selected selling concepts (30%)
• Measure business performance through weekly and monthly reporting and continuously improve reporting (20%)
• Assist with business case development for new online merchandising concepts (10%)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• 3 years of work experience preferred
• Preferred: MBA or equivalent experience in retail, merchandising or a corporate consulting/project management role
• Reports to the Manager, Online Merch Concepts; no direct reports
• Typically less than 10% overnight travel; mostly sits indoors

Required skills

• Business modeling with SQL, Excel, Access and Tableau, and advanced Microsoft Office
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate with cross-functional partners
• Strong communication and presentation skills
