Sourcing Manager - NPI (Hybrid)

About the role

Stryker is looking for a Sourcing Manager for new product introduction (NPI) in a hybrid setting, based in Flower Mound, Texas or the surrounding area. The role leads sourcing strategy for new product development programs, partnering with Marketing, R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance and suppliers to bring innovative products from concept through commercialization. The position is hybrid, with regular physical presence at a Stryker location and flexibility to work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy for multiple new product development and NPI initiatives, aligned with business, operational and commercialization objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers for new technologies, components and manufacturing processes, balancing cost, quality, service, innovation and risk.
• Develop and execute supplier strategies that support product launches, margin expansion, supply continuity and long-term growth.
• Act as the primary commercial interface between suppliers and cross-functional teams, resolving issues to achieve program milestones.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance and Marketing so that sourcing supports project timelines, business cases and financial objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Finance, Business or a related field.
• 8 years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain or supplier management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading supplier contract negotiations and sourcing strategies for complex products or programs.
• Preferred: 3 years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives; experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive or life sciences; experience supporting new product development and commercialization in a global supply chain environment.

Required skills

• Preferred: SAP experience.
• Preferred: Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).

What we offer

• Salary range of $112,900 - $188,100 USD per year.
• 10% travel percentage.
