Solutions Engineer – Post‑Sales (Remote, US East Coast)

About the role

As a Solutions Engineer in post‑sales, you will bridge the gap between the sale and long‑term customer success. You’ll onboard new accounts, train engineering teams, and stay engaged as they expand their use of Checkly’s synthetic monitoring platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical onboarding for new customers, including implementation, configuration, and production rollout of monitoring.
• Run workshops and training sessions for engineering teams.
• Act as the technical counterpart in existing accounts, supporting adoption, troubleshooting, and growth alongside sales.
• Lead customer meetings ranging from deep‑technical dives to regular account check‑ins.
• Contribute to internal playbooks and technical documentation.
• Share customer insights with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

Required profile

• ~2 years of experience in a post‑sales technical role such as solutions engineering, professional services, or technical account management.
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring, observability, or automated testing.
• Strong ability to read, write, and debug code, preferably JavaScript/Node.js.
• Comfort using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate customer work.
• Excellent spoken and written English and a genuine interest in direct customer interaction.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous work style in an async environment, based in the US East Coast time zone.
