Solutions Architect – Presales

About the role

As a Solutions Architect – Presales at ePlus, you will act as the technical lead and sales engineer for targeted product and service solutions. Based in the New York Metro area, you will work on‑site two days a week, partnering with regional sales teams to drive revenue and shape IT roadmaps that meet customer business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to sales teams and customers across assigned technology focus areas.
• Collaborate with customers to capture business and technical requirements and translate them into solution recommendations.
• Develop solution architectures, detailed configurations, bills of materials, proposals and presentations.
• Lead customer‑facing presentations, lunch‑and‑learn sessions and technical scoping workshops.
• Author responses to RFPs, RFIs and RFQs and support Statement of Work development for multi‑vendor solutions.
• Act as liaison with OEM partners, channel teams and service delivery groups.
• Maintain OEM certifications, share product updates and identify emerging solution opportunities.

Required profile

• Located in the New York Metro area with ability to work on‑site two days per week.
• Proven experience in pre‑sales engineering or solutions architecture roles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence customers and internal teams.
• Ability to capture and translate complex technical requirements into clear solution designs.
