Software Validation and Automated Testing Engineer

About the role

As a Software Validation and Automated Testing Engineer at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket, you will design, develop, validate, and automate testing solutions for desktop, mobile, vehicle interface, and cloud‑based services. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across automotive diagnostic tools and connected ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop, and execute validation strategies and test plans for desktop, mobile, web, and cloud applications.
• Create and maintain automated test suites for functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Track, report, and communicate software quality metrics and validation status to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, validation, test automation, or quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software quality processes.
• Experience with source control systems and CI/CD environments.

Required skills

• Automated testing tools: Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, NUnit, JUnit, xUnit, TestNG, Postman.
• Programming languages/technologies: Java, Kotlin, C#, MAUI, Xamarin, C++, HTML, XML, REST APIs, TCP/IP.
• DevOps/CI‑CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols (CAN, DoIP, UDS, J2534, OBD‑II) is a plus.

• Base salary range $82,000 – $125,000 per year.
