Software Engineering Manager – Simulation Products

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of its Simulation Products, including Axion and VehicleSim. The manager will own a revenue‑generating product line, ensuring reliability, performance and a great user experience while guiding a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and grow a team of software engineers.
• Partner with a dedicated product manager to define roadmap and deliver a category‑leading simulation product.
• Provide technical guidance, prioritize work, and enforce best practices for complex, performance‑critical software.
• Recruit and interview new engineering talent.
• Maintain ownership of product quality, performance metrics and customer impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, robotics or a related field from a top institution.
• Minimum 2 years of people‑management experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
