Software Engineer – SDS Hardware-in-the-Loop

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to work on SDS Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) solutions that enable autonomous vehicle development. You will join a cross‑disciplinary team that tackles full‑stack, infrastructure, robotics, and graphics challenges across the company’s autonomy platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new products, features, and tools that support customers' autonomy development workflows.
• Work across the entire software stack, from low‑level hardware interfaces to high‑level user tools.
• Collaborate with domain experts in infrastructure, robotics, and graphics to design elegant, efficient solutions.
• Gather user feedback, influence product decisions, and help shape a dynamic engineering culture.
• Take ownership of technical and product decisions while maintaining high code quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping complex software systems.
• Self‑starter who quickly becomes comfortable with new technical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to design efficient and effective solutions to diverse engineering challenges.
• Strong initiative and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Software development (full‑stack engineering).
• Experience with infrastructure, robotics, or graphics domains is a plus.
