About the role

Infosys is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Engineering unit in Austin, TX. You will work on product‑centric solutions that leverage AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies to accelerate delivery and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, create process documentation, and develop code according to detailed specifications.
• Build, test, and refine backend services using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, report defects, and support integration of new features.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation for system maintenance.
